Removal Procedure
- Remove the nut (1) which secures the remote control door lock receiver bracket (2).
- Reposition the receiver bracket (2) in order to access the remote control door lock receiver (6) mounting screws.
- Remove the 2 retainers (2,4) which secure the remote control door lock receiver electrical connector (3).
- Disconnect the receiver electrical connector (3).
- Remove the following components from the remote control door lock receiver bracket (3):

| • | The remote control door lock receiver (2) |
Installation Procedure
- Install the remote control door lock receiver (2) to the mounting bracket (3). Secure the receiver with 2 screws (1).
- Connect the receiver electrical connector (3).
- Install the 2 retainers (2,4) which secure the remote control door lock receiver electrical connector (3).
- Reposition the receiver bracket (2) back to its original position. Secure the receiver bracket with the retaining nut (1).
- Reprogram the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the remote control door lock receiver bracket nut to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
