The DOOR LOCK switch (3) is located within the master switch (1) on the left front door trim panel (4).
Battery voltage is applied at all times through the D/L fuse to the remote control door lock receiver. The remote control door lock receiver is permanently grounded at G201.
When the DOOR LOCK switch (3) is moved to the unlock position, the remote control door lock receiver and the door unlock relay receives B+ . The door unlock relay then operates and creates a path to G201 through the normally closed contacts of the door lock relay. This causes the door locks to move to the unlock position.
When any of the following items are moved to the lock position:
• | The DOOR LOCK switch (3) |
• | The left front lock cylinder |
• | The right front lock cylinder |
• | The rear lock cylinder |
The remote control door lock receiver and the door lock relay receives B+. The door lock relay then operates and creates a path to G201 through the normally closed contacts of the door unlock relay. This causes the door locks to move to the lock position.
