Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement Passenger Side

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
2. Remove the front seat inner adjuster finish cover. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Inner Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement .
3. Remove the front seat head restraint and the guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
4. Remove the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement .
5. Release the J-retainer (2) on the bottom of the seat back cushion cover (1) which secures the cover around the seat adjuster lateral rod (3).
6. Roll the seat back cushion cover (1) up and off the seat back cushion pad and frame.



7. Remove the 2 bolts (2) which secure each seat adjuster (3) to the seat back cushion frame (1).
8. Remove the seat back cushion pad and frame (1) from the front seat.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

1. Install the seat back cushion pad and frame (1) to the front seat. Secure the frame to each seat adjuster (3) with the 2 mounting bolts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the front seat back cushion mounting bolts to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).




2. Roll the seat back cushion cover (1) onto the seat back cushion pad and frame.
3. Secure the J-retainer (2) on the bottom of the seat back cushion cover (1) around the seat adjuster lateral rod (3).
4. Install the front seat head restraint and the guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
5. Install the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement .
6. Install the front seat inner adjuster finish cover. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Inner Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement .
7. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .

Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement Driver Side

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
2. Remove the front seat inner adjuster finish cover. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Inner Adjuster Finish Cover Replacement .
3. Remove the front seat head restraint and the guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
4. Remove the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement .
5. Remove the lumbar support knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
6. Release the J-retainer (2) on the bottom of the seat back cushion cover (1) which secures the cover around the seat adjuster lateral rod (3).
7. Roll the seat back cushion cover (1) up and off the seat back cushion pad and frame.



8. Remove the 2 bolts (2) which secure each seat adjuster (3) to the seat back cushion frame (1).
9. Remove the seat back cushion pad and frame (1) from the front seat.
