Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2001 🢒 Tracker - 4WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 1.6L 🢒 Timing Belt Removal

  1. Remove the 8 bolts and 1 nut that secure the timing belt cover (12).
  2. Remove the timing belt cover.

    3. Object Number: 262565 Size: SH

    Important: Before removing the timing belt, align the upper and the lower timing marks by turning the crankshaft.

  3. Ensure that the upper timing marks (1 and 2) are aligned.

    4. Object Number: 262566 Size: SH
  4. Ensure that the lower timing marks (1 and 2) are aligned.

    5. Object Number: 262549 Size: SH
  5. Loosen the timing belt tensioner bolt (2) and the stud (1).
  6. Remove the belt from the crankshaft timing belt pulley and the camshaft timing belt pulley after pushing up the tensioner plate fully with your finger.
