Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2003 🢒 Tracker - 4WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.5L (LE8) 🢒 Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove engine crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 711376 Size: SH

    Important: To protect the crankshaft from damage, wrap the tip of the screwdriver with tape.

  2. Carefully pry out the crankshaft front oil seal using a screwdriver.

Installation Procedure
  1. Lubricate the new crankshaft front oil seal with Chassis Grease GM P/N 1051344 or equivalent.

    2. Object Number: 711330 Size: SH

    Important: Tap the oil seal in until its surface is flush with the crankshaft front oil seal retainer edge.

  2. Using a hammer and an appropriate driver, lightly tap the crankshaft front oil seal into place.
  3. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
