Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 473474  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the rear window washer pump electrical connector (2).

  2. Object Number: 473498  Size: SH
  3. Remove the 3 bolts (2) which secure the washer solvent container (1).

  4. Object Number: 473495  Size: SH
  5. Drain the washer solvent from the washer solvent container (1) into a clean drain pan (2).

  6. Object Number: 473500  Size: SH
  7. Remove the rear window washer nozzle hose (4) from the rear window washer pump (2).
  8. Remove the rear window washer pump (2) from the washer solvent container (3).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear window washer pump (2) to the washer solvent container (3).
  2. Install the rear window washer nozzle hose (4) to the rear window washer pump (2).

  3. Object Number: 473498  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the washer solvent container (1) to the vehicle. Secure the container with 3 bolts (2).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the washer solvent container bolts to 13 N·m (115 lb in).

  6. Connect the rear window washer pump electrical connector (2).
  7. Refill the washer solvent container with washer solvent, as necessary.
