Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Without Power Windows
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear side door
window. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Replacement
.
- Remove the 3 bolts (1) and the 3 nuts (2) which
secure the front side door window regulator (5).
- Remove the window regulator (5) through the large opening
in the inner portion of the rear side door.
Installation Procedure
- Apply a multipurpose grease
to the specified points.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the rear
side door window regulator (5) through the large opening in the inner
portion of the rear side door. Secure the regulator to the door with the
3 bolts (1) and the 3 nuts (2).
Tighten
Tighten the rear side door window regulator bolts and nuts to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).

Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear side door
window. Refer to

- Remove the 3 plastic retainers which secure the rear side door
window regulator wiring to the front side door.
- Disconnect the rear side door window regulator electrical connector.
- Remove the 6 nuts (1, 2) which secure the front side door
window regulator (5).
- Remove the window regulator (5) through the large opening
in the inner portion of the rear side door.
Installation Procedure
