Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 489104  Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the plastic retainers which secure the front seat belt buckle electrical connector to the seat cushion (1), if equipped.
  3. Remove the 4 bolts (3) which secure the seat cushion (1) to the seat adjusters (2, 4).

  5. Turn the front seat over and remove the seat cushion (1) from the seat adjusters (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat cushion (1) to the seat adjusters (2).

  2. Object Number: 489104  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Turn the front seat over and install the 4 bolts (3) which secure the seat cushion (1) to the seat adjusters (2, 4).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat cushion bolts to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  5. Install the front seat belt buckle electrical connector to the seat cushion (1), if equipped. Secure the connector to the cushion with the plastic retainers
  6. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
