Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 468539  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear compartment convenience net.
  2. Remove the lower rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement - 4 Door .
  3. Open the rear seat belt guide loop cover (1).
  4. Remove the rear seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2) and position the rear seat belt (3) aside.

  5. Object Number: 636054  Size: SH
  6. Remove each screw (2,5) and the rear security cover hook and brackets (3,6) from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the upper rear quarter trim panel (1) from the vehicle by gently disengaging the plastic retainers.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper rear quarter trim panel (1) to the vehicle. Ensure that the plastic retainers are fully engaged.
  2. Install the rear security cover hook and brackets (3,6) to the vehicle. Secure each hook and bracket with a screw (2,5).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the rear seat belt (3) into position. Secure the seat belt with the seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat belt guide loop anchor bolt to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  6. Close the rear seat belt guide loop cover (1).
  7. Install the lower rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement - 4 Door .
  8. Install the rear compartment convenience net.
  9. Install the rear security cover.
