Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 730795 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fuel fill cap.
  2. Remove the fuel fill pipe housing.

    3. Object Number: 730799 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel fill pipe bracket nuts (2).
  4. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    5. Object Number: 730802 Size: SH
  5. Remove the fuel fill pipe ground strap bolt (3).

    6. Object Number: 730806 Size: SH
  6. Loosen the fuel fill hose clamp (8).
  7. Separate the fuel hose (9) from the fuel fill pipe (7).
  8. Cap the open end of the fuel fill hose (9).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 730806 Size: SH
  1. Uncap the fuel fill pipe (9).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fuel fill pipe (7).
  3. Connect the fuel fill hose (9) to the fuel fill pipe (7).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the fuel fill pipe ground strap bolt (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Lower the vehicle.

    6. Object Number: 730799 Size: SH
  6. Install the fuel fill pipe bracket nuts (2).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the fuel fill pipe housing.
  8. Install the fuel fill cap.
