Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement Buick

1. Block the wheels to prevent the vehicle from moving.
2. Remove the floor shift control boot from the floor console. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement.
3. Adjust the shift lever fully rearward.
4. Remove the console storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement.



5. Starting at the rear of the bezel, lift the bezel to release the retaining clips.



6. Partially remove the bezel from the console.
7. Disconnect the in-line electrical connector to the traction control switch.
8. Remove the bezel from the vehicle.

1. Position the trim plate to the console.



2. Install the bezel to the console ensuring the retaining clips are fully seated.
3. Install the floor shift control boot to the floor console. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement.
4. Install the console storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement.
5. Position the shift lever in the PARK position.
6. Remove the wheels blocks from the vehicle.

Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement Chevrolet, GMC, Isuzu

For the Chevrolet, GMC and the Isuzu the console shift lever bezel is not serviced as an individual piece. It must be replaced as part of the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement.
