Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to SIR Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.

    2. Object Number: 1526913 Size: SH
  2. Fold back the rear carpet in order to gain access to the sensor. Refer to Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the nuts securing the rollover sensor to the floor panel.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1526913 Size: SH
  1. Install the nuts securing the rollover sensor to the floor panel.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the rear carpet. Refer to Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement.
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
