Front Side Door Center Molding Assembly

Caution: Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Using a J 25070 Heat Gun in a circular motion in order to warm and help to remove the front side door molding.
2. Peel the adhesive tape liner from the molding.
3. Align the 3 plastic retainers to the holes in the door.
4. Secure the retainers to the door.
5. Using a clean towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the front edge of the rear door and working rearward.

Front Side Door Center Molding Assembly

Procedure

1. Use a J 25070 Heat Gun to remove the front side door molding.
2. Peel the adhesive tape liner from the molding.

Front Side Door Retainer (Qty: 3)

Procedure

1. Align the 3 retainer clips to the holes in the door.
2. Align the A-pillar clip first followed by the other 2 clips.
3. Push up slightly on the molding when aligning the other 2 holes.
4. Using a clean towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the front edge of the front door and working rearward.
