Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the underbody rear side rail. Refer to Underbody Rear Side Rail Replacement.
3. Support the frame with a jack stand.

Frame Reinforcement Bolt (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
60 N·m (44 lb ft)

Frame Reinforcement Stud

Tighten
60 N·m (44 lb ft)

Frame Bolt (Qty: 2)

Tighten
110 N·m (81 lb ft) plus 90 degrees
