Tools Required
J 38185
(SA911E) Hose Clamp Pliers
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Release the quick connect.
Disconnect the inlet heater hose (1) at the engine.
Disconnect the outlet heater hose (2) at the engine.
Using the
J 38185
or SA911E hose clamp pliers, disengage the inlet hose clamp at the module.
Using the
J 38185
or SA911E hose clamp pliers, disengage the outlet hose clamp at the module.
If equipped with rear air conditioning, disengage the inlet and outlet hose clamps from the rear auxiliary pipes using the
J 38185
or SA911E.
Remove the inlet or outlet hose.
Installation Procedure
Install the inlet or outlet hose.
If equipped with rear air conditioning, engage the inlet and outlet hose clamps at the rear auxiliary pipes.
Engage the outlet hose clamp at the module.
Engage the inlet hose clamp at the module.
Connect the outlet heater hose (2) at the engine.
Connect the inlet heater hose (1) at the engine.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
