The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
When installing the GM Mobility (Sit-N-Lift) seat, dealers may report that they are unable to find Circuit 739 (pink wire) in cavity C3 of connector C204 as listed in the installation instructions on page 4 of 16, step 6.8.4.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Vehicle NOT equipped with RPO UD7 (rear parking assist) will not have a pink wire in cavity C3 (circuit 739) of the white connector C204. Install the pink wire (circuit 739) from the Sit-N-Lift harness with the female terminal into the empty cavity C3
of connector C204. Refer to eSI Document ID # 1513714 (wiring schematic) for further circuit description.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
