The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may report that they are unable to set up the personalization through the DIC (Drivers Information Center)
Recommendation/Instructions:
This is a normal characteristic of a vehicle built with RPO option 1SA package. DO NOT replace the IPC for this concern. To have the personalization option, vehicles must be built with one of the RPO option packages 1SB, 1SC, 1SZ, and MUST also have the RPO UH9.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
