Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement for Chevrolet Uplander 2009

1. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side .
2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
3. Remove the CKP sensor stud (2).
4. Remove the CKP sensor (1).

1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
2. Install the CKP sensor (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the CKP sensor stud (2) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in) .
4. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the CKP sensor.
5. Install the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side .
