🢒 Radiator Replacement
Removal Procedure
Disconnect the lower transmission oil cooler (TOC) line from the radiator. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Remove the cooling fans and shroud. Refer to
Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement
.
Remove radiator inlet hose. Refer to
Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement
.
Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to
Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement
.
Remove the bolt that secures the radiator to the condenser.
Remove the condenser tube clip screw.
Tilt the radiator and condenser inwards toward the engine and remove the radiator.
Installation Procedure
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install the radiator.
Install the condenser tube clip screw and tighten to
6 N·m (53 lb in)
.
Install the bolt that secures the radiator to the condenser and tighten to
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)
.
Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to
Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement
.
Install radiator inlet hose. Refer to
Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement
.
Install the cooling fans and shroud. Refer to
Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement
.
Connect the lower transmission oil cooler (TOC) line to the radiator. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
.
Refill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to
Transmission Fluid Check
.
