Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1479973 Size: SH
  2. Remove the impact bar bolts from the frame rail.
  3. Remove the rear impact bar from the frame rail.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1479973 Size: SH
  1. Align the rear impact bar to the frame rail.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear impact bar bolts to the frame rail and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) .
  3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
