🢒 Stabilizer Shaft Replacement
Removal Procedure
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to
Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
.
Remove the left and right stabilizer shaft link lower nut (3).
Remove the stabilizer shaft link (2) from the stabilizer shaft.
Remove the left and right stabilizer shaft insulators and brackets. Refer to
Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement
.
Remove the stabilizer shaft from the left side of the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install stabilizer shaft going in through left side of vehicle.
Install the left and right stabilizer shaft insulators and brackets. Refer to
Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement
.
Install the left and right stabilizer shaft links to the stabilizer shaft.
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install the stabilizer shaft link nuts and tighten to
45 N·m (33 lb ft)
.
Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to
Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
.
Lower the vehicle.
