Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the electronic level control ELC/TRAILER fuse.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the A/C hoses for access if equipped. Refer to Auxiliary Heater and Air Conditioning Pipe Replacement/Repair .

    4. Object Number: 187281 Size: MH
  4. Remove the automatic level control air compressor filter (1) from the underbody rail. Squeeze the clips on side of the filter and pull the filter out of the hole in the rail.
  5. Remove the automatic level control air compressor filter (1) from the hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 187281 Size: MH
  1. Install the automatic level control air compressor filter (1) to the hose.

    2. Important: In order to prevent water entry into the automatic level control air compressor, snap the filter completely into the rail during installation.

  2. Install the automatic level control air compressor filter to the underbody rail.
  3. Install the A/C hoses if previously removed. Refer to Auxiliary Heater and Air Conditioning Pipe Replacement/Repair .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Install the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
