Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1557691 Size: SH
  1. Remove the lower intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pump drive bolt. (cylinder heads shown removed for clarity).
  3. Remove the oil pump drive.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1557691 Size: SH
  1. Apply prelube to the oil pump drive gear. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
  2. Install the oil pump drive.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the oil pump drive bolt and tighten to 36 N·m (27 lb ft) .
  4. Install the lower intake manifold. Refer to Lower Intake Manifold Replacement .
