| • | J-45004 Fuel Tank Drain Hose |
- Remove the fuel fill cap.
- Install the J-42960-2 Door Holder into the fuel fill pipe in order to hold the door open.
- Insert the J-45004 Hose into the fuel tank until the hose reaches the bottom of the fuel tank.
- Use an hand or air operated pump device in order to drain as much fuel through the fuel fill pipe as possible.
Warning: Never drain or store fuel in an open container. Always use an approved fuel storage container in order to reduce the chance of fire or explosion.
Warning: Place a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby before performing any on-vehicle service procedures. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury.
Note: Lubricate the fuel drain hose with J-36850 Lubricant or equivalent to aid in hose insertion. Do not use an unapproved lubricant.
