Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1677450 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the camshaft position actuator magnet.

    4. Object Number: 1557696 Size: SH
  4. Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts.
  5. Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet and O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1557696 Size: SH
  1. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet O-ring seal and magnet.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in) .

    3. Object Number: 1677450 Size: SH
  3. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the camshaft position actuator magnet.
  4. Install the washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement .
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
