Removal Procedure

    Note: By removing the power sliding door (PSD) 15A fuse, the low current logic power for both the LH and RH power sliding door modules (PSDM) will be interrupted and both PSDs will be inoperative.

  1. If equipped with a power sliding door, disable the PSD system by removing the PSD 15A fuse from the instrument panel (I/P) fuse block.
  2. Remove the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 320044  Size: SH
  4. Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to remove the plugs from the swing-out window access hole on the sliding door.

  5. Object Number: 320051  Size: SH
  6. Remove the swing-out window latch screws.
  7. Remove the stud nuts from the swing-out window hinge.

  8. Object Number: 320047  Size: SH
  9. Remove the swing-out window from the sliding door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 320047  Size: SH
  1. Install the swing-out window to the sliding door.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 320051  Size: SH
  3. Install the studs nuts to the swing-out window hinge and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in) .
  4. Install the swing-out window latch screws and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in) .

  5. Object Number: 320044  Size: SH
  6. Press the plugs into the swing-out window access hole on the sliding door until fully seated.
  7. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement .
  8. Note: By installing the 15A fuse, the low current logic power will be restored to both the LH and RH PSDMs and the PSDs will be operational. However, both PSDMs will have to learn the full open and full closed positions of the PSD. Refer to Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module Programming and Setup .

  9. If equipped with a power sliding door, enable the PSD system by installing the PSD 15A fuse into the I/P fuse block.
