Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the right engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 160961 Size: MH
  4. Remove the transaxle brace bolts.
  5. Remove the transaxle brace.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 160961 Size: MH
  1. Position the transaxle brace to transaxle and engine.
  2. Hand start the bolts to the engine.
  3. Hand start the bolts to the transaxle.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the brace bolts to the engine and tighten to 43 N·m (32 lb ft) .
  5. Install the brace bolts to the transaxle and tighten to 43 N·m (32 lb ft) .
  6. Install the right engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement.
  7. Install the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
