Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Uplander Ext. 🢒 Transmission 🢒 Automatic Transmission - 4T65-E 🢒 Transmission Fluid Filler Tube and Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the oil indicator from the filler tube.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 368795 Size: MH
  3. Remove the retaining nut from the EGR at the top of the filler tube.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  5. Remove the lower retaining bolt at the base of the filler tube.
  6. Remove the fluid filler tube.

    7. Object Number: 368794 Size: SH
  7. Remove the fluid filler tube seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 368794 Size: SH
  1. Install the fluid filler tube seal in the transaxle.
  2. Position the fluid filler tube into the transaxle.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 368795 Size: MH
  3. Install the fluid filler tube bracket bolt through the fluid filler tube bracket and tighten to 13 N·m (115 lb in).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. At the top of the filler tube Install the retaining nut to the filler tube the EGR at the top of the filler tube.
  6. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
  7. Inspect for proper fluid level.
  8. Inspect for fluid leaks.
