Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1479947 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the bolt (3) securing the wedge (2) to the liftgate (1).
  3. Remove the wedge from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1479947 Size: SH
  1. Position the wedge (2) to the liftgate and index the locking tab on the back side of the wedge to the index hole in the liftgate.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolt (3) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in) .
  3. Close the liftgate.
