Rear Seat Replacement w/o SIAB
Removal Procedure
Slide the rear seat to the most rearward position, Captian seat shown, bucket seat similar.
Fold the seat back so its flat.
Pull the strap on the back side of the rear seat riser in order to release the riser from the floor.
Tilt the rear seat fully upwards.
Lift the rear seat from the latch.
Remove the rear seat from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install the rear seat to the vehicle.
Secure the front seat riser latches into the floor.
Ensure that the latch is secured on both pins.
Tilt the rear seat assembly down and latch the rear seat riser latches into the floor.
Tilt the rear seat back upright.
Return the rear seat to its original position.
Rear Seat Replacement w/SIAB
Removal Procedure
Disable the SIR. Refer to
SIR Disabling and Enabling
.
Slide the rear seat to the most rearward position.
Fold the seat back so it is flat.
Use a flat bladed screwdriver to manually release the latch by turning the slot on the side of the seat riser.
Tilt the rear seat fully upwards.
Lift the rear seat from the latch.
Remove the rear seat from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install the rear seat to the vehicle.
Secure the front seat riser latches into the floor.
Ensure that the latch is secured on both pins.
Tilt the rear seat assembly down and latch the rear seat riser latches into the floor.
Tilt the rear seat back upright.
Return the rear seat to its original position.
Enable the SIR. Refer to
SIR Disabling and Enabling
.
