Luggage Carrier Replacement Extended Wheelbase

Important: Remove the luggage carrier as an assembly.

1. Remove the front and rear mounting screw caps.
2. Remove the front and rear mounting screws from the luggage carrier.
3. Remove the center mounting screws, if equipped, from the luggage carrier.
4. Remove the luggage carrier from the roof with an assistant.

1. Position the luggage carrier to the roof with an assistant.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the center mounting screws, if equipped, to the luggage carrier.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

3. Install the front and rear mounting screws to the luggage carrier.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

4. Install the front and rear mounting screw caps.

Luggage Carrier Replacement Regular Wheelbase

Important: Remove the luggage carrier as an assembly.

1. Remove the front and rear mounting screws (2) from the luggage carrier (1).
2. Remove the center mounting screws, if equipped, from the luggage carrier.
3. Remove the luggage carrier from the roof with an assistant.

1. Position the luggage carrier to the roof with an assistant.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the front and rear mounting screws (2) to the luggage carrier (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
