Instrument Panel Cluster Inoperative Intermittently with Possible DTCs - keywords communications diagnostic nocomm U1096 B1370 U1000 P0703 U1064 U1153

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

Some customers may report that the IPC goes inoperative on their new 2005 crossover U-Van. A diagnostic probe with the Tech 2 may find one or several DTCs U1096 B1370 U1000 P0703 U1064 U1153 set in the vehicle.

Check G200 at the right side IP cross brace to the right of the HVAC case. If the ground is loose, make sure it is clean and re-torque.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
