The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A customer may report that their heated seats, and or the rear defroster/defogger may shut off when using other accessories. Engineering has determined that the IPC and HVAC control modules have a software calibration that may induce this concern.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Refer to service bulletin 05-01-38-014 and reprogram the CCP (Climate Control Panel).
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
