The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some vehicles may have body side moldings which appear to have rust on them.
Recommendation/Instructions:
This is the result of defective raw material from the supplier. The only fix is to replace the body side moldings. The supplier has been changed and the material from GMSPO is good.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
