Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 512952 Size: SH
  3. Remove the front door inside handle spring from its retainer clip.

    4. Object Number: 512954 Size: SH
  4. Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the front door inside handle from the lock module.

    5. Object Number: 512948 Size: SH
  5. Pull back on the door inside handle assembly.

    6. Object Number: 512946 Size: SH
  6. Separate the upper and lower portions from each other. Slide the upper and lower portions off the lock rods.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 512948 Size: SH
  1. Replace the upper and lower portions on the lock rods. Slide the upper and lower portions together.

    2. Object Number: 512954 Size: SH
  2. Reattach the door inside handle assembly to the lock module.

    3. Object Number: 512952 Size: SH
  3. Reattach the front door inside handle spring to its retainer clip.
  4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
