J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Remove the air cleaner and duct assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.4L.
2. Remove the throttle cable bracket in order to gain access to the throttle body heater hose clamp.
3. Drain the coolant until the coolant level is below the throttle body heater hoses. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
4. Use the J 38185 in order to remove the hose clamp.



5. Remove the throttle body heater inlet hose.

1. Install the throttle body heater inlet hose.
2. Use the J 38185 in order to install the hose clamps.
3. Install the throttle cable bracket.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
5. Install the air cleaner and duct assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.4L.
