Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 768569 Size: SH
  1. Remove the spoiler mounting screw access plugs.
  2. Remove the spoiler mounting screws.
  3. Remove the luggage carrier center mounting screws.
  4. Lift up and support the spoiler at the luggage rails.
  5. Remove the rear luggage carrier cross rail to spoiler screws.
  6. Remove the spoiler from the roof.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 768569 Size: SH
  1. Align the spoiler to the roof panel.
  2. Position the spoiler to the luggage carrier rails.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the rear luggage carrier cross rail to spoiler screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Remove the supports from under the luggage carrier rails.
  5. Install the luggage carrier center mounting screws.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the luggage carrier center mounting screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  6. Install the spoiler mounting screws.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  7. Install the spoiler mounting screw access plugs.
