The slotted holes are provided at the hood hinge to upper
fender rail attaching points for proper adjustment, both cross car, and fore
and aft. Vertical adjustment at the front may be made by adjusting the rubber
bumpers up and down. For best results, make one adjustment at
a time.
To Raise or Lower the Rear Corners
- Close the hood firmly.
- Determine the amount of adjustment needed.
- Open the hood.
- Raise or lower the vertical adjustment screw at the rear of the
hood hinge to the specified height.
- If needed, repeat the procedure on the opposite side of the hood.
To Raise or Lower the Front Corners
- Close the hood firmly.
- Determine the amount of adjustment needed.
- Open the hood.
- Raise or lower the front adjustable hood bumpers as required.
Fore and Aft Adjustment
- Loosen the hinge bolts at the upper fender rail.
- Reposition the hinge.
- Tighten the hinge bolts. Refer to

.
- If needed, repeat the procedure on the opposite side of the hood.
