Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 314064  Size: SH
  1. Use a heat gun to heat the rear bumper fascia reflectors. Hold the heat gun 152 mm (6 in) from the surface.
  2. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat to the surface.
  3. Important: Be careful not to scratch paint with the flat-bladed tool.

  4. Use a flat-bladed tool to peel the rear bumper fascia reflectors from the rear bumper fascia surface.
  5. Use a lint free cloth and Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha or a 50/50 mixure by volume of isopropyl alchohol and water to clean the area.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 314064  Size: SH
  1. Warm the rear bumper fascia with a heat lamp or heat gun to a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
  2. Important: DO NOT touch the adhesive backing.

  3. Peel the backing from the front end of the rear bumper fascia reflectors.
  4. Press the rear bumper fascia reflectors to the rear fascia while continuing to remove the backing.
  5. Hand roll the rear bumper fascia reflectors to the rear fascia in order to ensure proper adhesion.
