8-Digit GM Part Number: The scan tool displays the GM eight digit part number of the instrument
panel cluster (IPC).
ABS Warning Lamp: The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the ABS warning
indicator commanded by the IPC. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the
EBCM.
Accessory: The scan tool displays 9-16 volts. The voltage measured at
the IPC accessory positive voltage circuit.

as commaned by the IPC.
Engine Oil Level: The scan tool displays OK or Low. The PCM monitors the signal circuit
of the engine oil level switch. An open switch with low oil level is displayed
as Low.
Engine Oil Life: The scan tool displays 0-100%. The PCM calculates the remaining
engine oil life.
Engine Oil Pressure: The scan tool displays OK or Low. The PCM monitors the signal circuit
of the engine oil pressure switch. An closed switch with low oil pressure
is displayed as Low.
Fog Lamp: The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the signal circuit
of the fog lamp switch. An open switch is displayed as Off.
Fuel Level: The scan tool displays 0-100%. The PCM calculates the amount
of fuel remaining in the tank based on the input from the fuel level sensor.
The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating the fuel
level percent.
Hatch Ajar Lamp: The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the signal circuit
of the liftgate ajar switch. An open switch is displayed as Off.
Hi. Res. Speed Failed: The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state of the vehicle speed
detected by the IPC. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM.
Ignition 0 : The scan tool displays 9-16 volts. The voltage measured at
the IPC ignition 0 positive voltage.
Ignition 1 : The scan tool displays 9-16 volts. The voltage measured at
the ignition 1 positive voltage circuit to the IPC.
Low Brake Fluid: The scan tool displays On or Off. The IPC monitors the signal circuit
of the brake fluid switch. An open switch is displayed as Off.
Low Brake Fluid Report: The scan tool displays Yes or No. The IPC sends a class 2
message to the EBCM indicating low brake fluid.
Low Fuel Lamp Timer: The scan tool displays 0-7969 milliseconds. The time measured
for the low fuel telltale to come on based on slosh filtering in the fuel
tank.
Low Res. Speed Failed: The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state of the wheel speed
detected by the IPC. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM.
The wheel speed is used as a back up if the IPC does not receive a valid
vehicle speed class 2 message from the PCM.
Odometer Msg. Failed: The scan tool displays Yes or No. The state of the odometer rolling
count detected by the IPC. The IPC receives a class 2 message from
the PCM.
Park Brake Telltale: The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the park brake indicator
