Adjustment Procedure


    Object Number: 319985  Size: SH
  1. Remove the sliding door upper garnish molding. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Important: Loosen only 1 bolt at a time on each bracket. Loosening more than 1 bolt may cause a loss of sliding door alignment.

  3. Loosen 1 bolt on the upper roller bracket.
  4. Loosen 1 bolt on the lower roller bracket.
  5. Adjust the front edge of the sliding door in or out, as needed.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Tighten the bolt on the lower roller bracket.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  9. Tighten the bolt on the upper roller bracket.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  11. Install the upper garnish molding to the sliding door. Refer to Rear Side Door Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
