This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers that a change was made to the front seat belt system in production on October 7, 2002 for the above listed vehicles. This change was made to give better insertion efforts and improve customer satisfaction with the seat belt operation. Both the retractor side and the buckle side of the system were changed. The parts involved are not interchangeable. If a 2003 model year vehicle was built before 10/7/02, it has 2002 model year parts. Vehicles built 10/7/02 and later, use 2003 model year parts. Please use this information when ordering parts.
