Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1263884 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector at the knock sensor.
  3. Remove the bolt and the knock sensor

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1263884 Size: SH
  1. Install the knock sensor with the bolt.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the knock sensor bolt to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connector at the knock sensor.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
