Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1281950 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  2. Remove the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the nuts securing the impact bar.

  4. Remove the rear impact bar.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1281934 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear impact bar.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1281950 Size: SH
  2. Install the nuts securing the impact bar.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the impact bar nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
