Inspect fuse F23.

Is the fuse open?

1. Inspect for a short circuit and repair if necessary.
2. Replace the fuse.

Did you complete the repair?

Use a voltmeter to measure for voltage at fuse F23.

Does the voltage measure within the specified value?

11-14 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open power supply circuit for fuse F23.

Did you complete the repair?

--

System OK

--

1. Remove the electrical connector from the back of the cigar lighter.
2. Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the YE/BK wire.

Does the voltage measure within the specified value?

11-14 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair the open circuit between the fuse F23 and the cigar lighter.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK

Connect the voltmeter between the YE/BK and the BK wires at the cigar lighter connector.

Does the voltage measure within the specified value?

11-14 V

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 8

Repair the open ground circuit.

Did you complete the repair?

--

System OK

--

Replace the cigar lighter.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK
