Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1281747 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1281748 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the lock rods.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the door lock assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1281748 Size: SH
  1. Install the door lock assembly.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Connect the lock rods.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1281747 Size: SH
  4. Install the bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the lock bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  5. Install the seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
