Adjustment Procedure
- Adjust the rear brakes.
- Release the parking brake.
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Inspect the parking brake cables for free movement,
- Turn the self-locking nut until the wheels are difficult to turn. (Parking position)
- Back off the nut until the rear wheels are just free to turn. (Release parking position)
- Lower the vehicle.
