Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1280199 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower cover of glove box. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Disconnect the power transistor connector.
  4. Remove the 2 screws that secure the power transistor.
  5. Remove the power transistor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1280199 Size: SH
  1. Install the power transistor.
  2. Install the 2 screws that secure the power transistor.
  3. Connect the power transistor connector.
  4. Install the lower cover of the glove box. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
