Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1280158 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Pry off the connecting rod of air mix door actuator.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  5. Remove the 3 screws that secure the air mix door actuator.
  6. Remove the air mix door actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1280158 Size: SH
  1. Install the air mix door actuator.
  2. Install the 3 screws that secure the air mix door actuator.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the connecting rod of air mix door actuator.
  5. Install the glove box. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
