Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1282118 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front rocker trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  2. Remove the screw.
  3. Disconnect the cable from the handle.
  4. Remove the fuel filler door remote handle.

    5. Object Number: 1282119 Size: SH
  5. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear rocker trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Remove the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Disconnect the cable from the fuel filler door.

  9. Remove the strap.
  10. Remove the cable.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1282120 Size: SH
  1. Install the cable.
  2. Install the strap.

    3. Object Number: 1282119 Size: SH
  3. Connect the cable from the fuel filler door.
  4. Install the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear rocker trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 1282118 Size: SH
  7. Install the fuel filler door remote handle.
  8. Connect the cable from the handle.

    9. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  9. Install the screw.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the cable handle crews to 8 N·m (71 lb in)

  10. Install the front rocker trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
